Screen provides excellent improvements in crop productivity by reflecting away harmful UV, IR and excess visible light.  Screen can reduce crop leaf temperatures by 2 to 10°C ( 4 to 18° F). These temperature reductions have many benefits, such as improving yield and the quality of harvested fruit. A well-applied Screen film can also reduce flower abortion, increase fruit retention.

 

Screen is specially formulated for ease of mixing and product dispersion.  Two application recommendations help protect season-long or late season heat/light/ water stress.

 

Screen is made from a specific type of kaolin that is suitable in IPM due to low impact on predators. Screen does not flare scale and mites.

Advanced Protection Against Heat/Light/ Water Stress

 

Screen™ Duo is the most advanced product available for the management of environmental stresses in crops. The name Duo refers to the two types of stress management materials in the formulation, developed from patent-pending Fusion Technology.

 

Screen Duo contains the same low-dust, easy to mix formulation used in Screen to reflect away harmful radiation and cool the crop. A naturally occurring activator of the crop stress-coping systems provides a second stress “mode of action”. Thus Screen Duo keeps crops protected by avoiding excess heat/light and drought, and stimulating the crop to scavenge damaging stress-generated free radicals.

 

Screen Duo rates are half or less than those of conventional products. Lower rates provide ease of handling, less product to handle, less residue for removal, while providing better yields and crop quality.
